I created those with the intention to replicate how film photos looks like. However I am not a film photography expert and therefore these are not perfect replicate of any popular film stock. They do look really good on any photos though.

Pack 5 hits all the right spots with vibrant color that still works for portraits. Inspired by Kodak UltraMax, you can expect beautiful color shifts in the shadows and highlights that will match up nicely with your disposable film camera, but also makes magic with fine art portraits and weddings. In a world of pastels and neutrals, we wanted to bring back bold colors that don’t compromise on skin tones. We’ll let the images do the talking. They are the most advanced filmic presets on the market, but luckily with Goodlight, advanced doesn’t mean difficult!

13 PRESETS + TOOLKIT

The LKO Sierra collection is all about the timelessness and ease of use while still giving your photos a bit of the nostalgic natural color look that LKO has always been known for. Growing as a photographer made me realize that I tend to edit more simply and cleanly than before. I want my photos to age well, stay consistent in my unique editing style, and not spend too much time on edits. That’s my idea behind this new collection. These presets are softer, easier to use, and highly versatile for any type of light or camera model. I specifically tested these in harsh light and very low light to ensure all the possible photoshoot scenarios are covered.

FilmUnlimited is a collection of Resolve 17/18 PowerGrades emulating Kodak 5207 250D and Kodak 5219 500T film. It’s a full PowerGrade rebuild of the negative film stocks I shot and profiled in November 2018 and January 2021.

Designed for Davinci YRGB color science. And as of December 8 2022, now rebuilt for native Resolve Colour Managed (RCM) workflows. RCM versions designed for the Davinci Wide Gamut/Davinci Intermediate colour space/gamma.

When I started project in early 2021 I had two goals. Create an accurate reproduction of the two stocks, and build them in way that offers maximum flexibility to allow me to achieve the looks clients request.

At the time of writing I’ve used FilmUnlimited on all but one digital project since the Release of Resolve 17. It’s now my main PowerGrade. I’ve used it, tested it, tweaked then tested it some more. Now it’s your turn.
