This is for the brave, for the artist facing the precipice of their next expedition. This is for the journey of becoming better, becoming the photographer you seek to be– growing, learning, evolving. We need a place of preparation, a place of certainty–a creative foundation for the monumental task ahead. We need quality tools–tested, tried, crafted with experience. From the creator behind LXC and SUMMIT, this is BASECAMP. Here’s to the origins of a new adventure, the jumping off point for new heights reached–fresh, expertly-crafted Lightroom profiles for your next creative endeavor.
PLEASE NOTE: Basecamp is a Profile Set and requires Adobe Lightroom Classic CC 7.5 (and newer) and/or Adobe Camera Raw 10.5 (and newer). This set is a ‘Profile-only’ set containing 8 Custom Color Creative profiles. (Profiles may be activated with the included corresponding ‘shortcut’ Preset or in the Profile Browser). The Basecamp profiles are designed to work with Raw files. (Please Note: These are NOT Photoshop Actions.)
What are Profiles?
Profiles themselves are not new to Lightroom or Camera Raw, but with the latest release of Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw we can now “interact” with them by using the new Profile Browser! The Basecamp Profiles can be used independently or with other presets. (Just think of the combination possibilities!)
Profiles utilize 3D Look Up Tables or LUTs (a complex series of color grading) and apply an effect without changing the slider values, they work differently than presets in that a majority of the settings are embedded into the profiles themselves rather than relying on adjustment sliders. Think of them as a layer that can be applied on it’s own or “over top” of a preset, and controlled with “Amount” or intensity slider!
After Purchase, please refer to the included Install Guide for installation. The presets for Lightroom 7.5 are now in .XMP format, and are installed in a different manner versus the previous .LRTEMPLATE files.

Interesting to see the spec posted. It is one of the older retire Preset packs by archipelago. I probably would say it is one of my all-time favorites. I have used it exclusively for a long time
I didn’t even realize it was no longer available until I tried to find the source URL, glad I was able to share it so others can use it now too 🙂
