REFINED began as a personal project by Marta Locklear to create a preset that sped up her workflow, and was timeless, consistent, and blended well with her film photography. Once the preset collection was released to the public it became widely esteemed and has since been used by some of the industry’s leading artists.

Today, REFINED cultivates celebrated products and a thriving community in collaboration with established professional photographers in order to bring knowledge and tools for photographers every step of the way. Marta is a retired wedding photographer currently specializing in lifestyle, stock, commercial, and editorial work. Her eminent career has found its deepest meaning in growing the worldwide community that REFINED has become and guiding photographers along their creative journey.
